We recently made use of the services of Kathy Lewellen to purchase a new apartment in the Corniche. We were very satisfied with the level of professional expertise and experience which she offered us. She has a wide knowledge of what is going on in the Real Estate marketplace on Singer Island; the apartment we purchased was not officially 'on the market', but Kathy was aware of the status and worked hard to bring a successful resolution to the negotiation within a week. She was able to provide us with references for an Inspector, for a first class lawyer to represent us at the closing, and--though we did not make use of it--of banking references as needed. She worked with the attorney and us to ensure that all the paperwork was in good order for the closing, so that the transaction became painless for us; and she offered to help us in any way we might require subsequent to the purchase. We would not hesitate to make use of her services again in the future or to recommend her to friends interested in purchasing real estate on Singer Island: she knows what is going on there; and she certainly knows what is happening in the Corniche, the building where she-- and we--live.

As foreign citizens from Europé we were not familiar with the process of buying a home in the United States. Kathy helped us navigate through every part of the home buying process; from finding the perfect home to referrals for insurance companies, general contractors and even a local bank. And her support didn’t stop after the sale. Kathy supervised the general contractor who remodeled the home and made sure everything was on schedule for our arrival. We first met Kathy by chance in the lobby of my mother's condo and at that time buying a condo on Singer Island was really just a dream. Kathy was quite enthusiastic about showing us around despite the appearance of us not being serious buyers. Every time we visited Florida over the next eighteen months we gave Kathy a call and she happily showed us at least 30 units in about ten different buildings. I joked that we were really only "serial lookers" Throughout our search Kathy emailed us new listings and I visited her website regularly to stay on top of the market. Kathy has one of the best websites because it lists units by building so if you have an interest in a particular building it's easy to find. It also includes monthly updates that list the selling prices of sold units which is very helpful. Finally last spring (2009) we decided to get serious because in our view the Florida market was very close to the bottom. We found a beautiful unit in Seawinds that previously we didn't think we could afford. So as it turned out our patience paid off. Without Kathy's knowledge, experience, and good natured assistance we would not have found our dream condo on Singer Island. For this we are very grateful. One final note my wife is a realtor, and we know that it takes a special person to work well with "buyers" and we hope to refer friends, family and clients to Kathy in future.

As I sit here looking out at the beautiful blue waters from my Water Glades condo I just have to say a big THANKS to Kathy. She was always available. She scheduled our time efficiently, always ensuring that we viewed the right properties. There was no wasted time with Kathy. Before we spent time celebrating the July 4th holiday we spent time with Kathy in pursuit of a “slice of paradise.” Kathy was professional throughout, regardless of how many times we went back to the same few units before we made our final decision. We recently had the pleasure of witnessing the real estate professionalism of Kathy Lewellyn. We experienced Kathy's services as both a seller's agent and a buyer's agent. We met her a few years ago when we purchased a condo in the Corniche and she was the seller's agent. She was so very helpful to us even though she was the seller's agent. We were out of state buyers with a whole lot of questions and Kathy was very willing to assist us in every aspect.
